Founded in Southern California in 1995, GoWireless has continually strived to be a driving force in the wireless industry. Upon opening its first store, GoWireless helped to bridge the gap commonly seen between paging and cellular; and the company has continually done so year after year incorporating any and all new emerging technologies throughout the United States. Today, GoWireless continues to grow steadfast throughout the United States with over 190 stores open in 16 states. GoWireless founder, Kevin Elder has built a strong management team by recruiting top leaders in the wireless messaging, telecommunications, financial, and internet industries. It is through this team with their combined extensive knowledge and experience in all facets of wireless communication, sales, marketing, software development, and financial management that GoWireless successfully strives in today’s ever-changing wireless industry.


EXECUTIVE TEAM

> KEVIN ELDER, PRESIDENT & CEO

Before founding GoWireless, Elder attended California State University at Long Beach where he participated in the collegiate football program. Taking his teamwork and leadership skills he became a top salesman in the field as he worked his way through college. In 1995, with a small loan and a clear vision of what his company would become, Elder set out to build his dream, a retail establishment specializing in wireless communications; One that could not only provide the necessary tools but also the knowledge and training to help customers utilize those tools effectively.

Elder takes tremendous pride in the fact that he has built a company with a firm foundation of superior customer service and positive word-of-mouth. It is these qualities that have helped Elder procure a group of top industry leaders to join him in his vision and to continually expand.

 
> JOHN SALISBURY, CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

Salisbury joined the GoWireless team in 1999 and has held positions as General Manager of Paging, General Manager of Los Angeles, and VP/Controller.  He has over 11 years of wireless experience operating in a variety of functions.  Prior to joining GoWireless, Salisbury held management positions in inventory, accounting, and corporate training with PageNet. Salisbury is currently responsible for the Corporate Operations of GoWireless.  He is a graduate of San Diego State University with a B.S. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.

 
> PAUL HUETHER, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Huether is Chief Financial officer of GoWireless. Huether has over twenty years of diversified management experience, including ten in the wireless area. An honors graduate of Seton Hall University, he is a Certified Public Accountant. Huether began his public accounting career with Price Waterhouse and has held senior management positions with Henry Schein (a medical distributor), and was Vice President and General Manager of Page Net of Las Vegas. Most recently, he was Chief Financial Officer of The Impact Family of companies; a conglomerate of twenty three companies in the aggregate production and sales as well as land development for the greater Las Vegas Valley.

 
> DAN WILKINS, REGIONAL PRESIDENT - DESERT MOUNTAIN REGION

Wilkins started his career with PageNet, holding positions in sales, sales management and general management. He held Vice President/GM positions in 4 markets throughout the U.S., most recently in the Arizona market. Wilkins also held the position of National Vice President of Sales for Vast Solutions, a wireless software integrator. Wilkins started with GoWireless in January of 2001 as the Vice President/General Manager managing the state of Arizona. Wilkins is currently Regional President and is responsible for the Desert Mountain Region operations of GoWireless. He is a graduate of California State Polytechnic University, with a B.S. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.

 
> JAY WIESELER, REGIONAL PRESIDENT - PACIFIC NORTHWEST REGION

Wieseler began his career with PageNet, holding many positions in sales and operations. He held Vice President of Sales positions in markets throughout the western region.  His last position with PageNet was Area Vice President of Sales for the San Francisco Bay Area. Wieseler's area comprised over 460,000 customers, and revenues in excess of $34 million.  Wieseler started with GoWireless in March of 2001 as the Vice President/General Manager managing the state of Washington. Wieseler is currently Regional President and is responsible for the Pacific NorthWest operations of GoWireless.  He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Lincoln with a B.S. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Marketing.

> GORDON GOBER, REGIONAL PRESIDENT - CALIFORNIA & COLORADO

Gober joined the GoWireless team in 2004 as Regional President of the California and Colorado markets. Gober possesses over 10 years of senior management experience within the Communications and Technology sectors. Prior to joining GoWireless, Gober held the position of General Manager for ADT Security Services, Inc., a Division of Tyco Fire and Security. He has held several leadership roles including National Sales Director for Plant Equipment, Inc., and Regional Sales Director for PageNet.  Gober is a graduate of Framingham State College with a B.A. degree in Psychology / Management Science and has completed undergraduate course studies in Engineering Management Technology, graduate work in Business Administration, and is a graduate of Massachusetts Military Academy – OCS.

> LARRY FLETCHER, VICE PRESIDENT - CORPORATE ADMINISTRATION

Fletcher brings eight years of wireless and nineteen years of business experience to the GoWireless management team. Prior to joining GoWireless in 1998, He spent two years with a startup ISP performing a variety of functions including Sales and Retail Distribution Manager. Since joining GoWireless, Fletcher has functioned as Operations Manager, General Manager for Indirect Distribution and General Manager for Los Angeles, San Diego and southern California.  Fletcher holds a degree in Administration of Justice and has completed the first year of Law School. Fletcher is currently the VP of Corporate Administration and is on the Board of Directors

 

> STACY AKIN, VICE PRESIDENT - PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION

Akin brings 30+ years of payroll experience to the GoWireless management team. Prior to joining GoWireless, Akin expanded her construction payroll department to an official payroll service company. In 1995, Akin left and joined GoWireless to create and head its Accounting and Payroll departments. Since joining GoWireless, Akin has played a key role in the evolution of the company and has spearheaded many of its current policies and procedures in effect to date. Akin is currently the Personnel Administrator and is on the Board of Directors.


> KEVIN TAYLOR, REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT - NORTH EAST REGION

Taylor has 10 years wireless retail experience. Prior to joining GoWireless in 2002, Taylor held a leadership role at Activate Cellular in the state of Washington. Since joining GoWireless, Taylor has helped complete the growth of GoWireless in the Pacific Northwest throughout Northern Oregon and Southern Washington. With GoWireless' expansion east, Taylor is now responsible for the North East market and is the first Vice President of Sales in the company.
